Continental Airlines Join Star Alliance

Continental Airlines has officially joined Star Alliance to become the third US carrier in the Star Alliance group.

The move sees the return of the Star Alliance network to the prestigious London-New York route, something it lost when fellow US member United Airlines sold the rights to the route to Delta (a Skyteam member) in 2006.
