American Airlines - increase self service check-in

As part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to improve its passengers’ travel experiences, American Airlines has recently increased the number of self service check-in machines available for use by passengers travelling through London Heathrow Airport.

Now at London Heathrow the total number of available self service check-in machines increase from just four to fourteen. The new machines will be more centrally located in American’s check-in area in zone B and will be jointly shared with fellow oneworld partner Cathay Pacific.

The existing machines both in the main check-in area and in American’s Flagship Check-in at zone H have already proven popular by enabling passengers to manage, amongst other things, their own check-in process and selection of preferred seating.
