As part of a continuing drive to reduce credit card fraud, new rules governing the way in which businesses process and store credit card information are now in effect. The new rules are known as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and are mandatory for all businesses that accept payment by card.
These rules now prevent Colpitts from recording and storing card security numbers for repeated use.
We are currently working with the Royal Bank of Scotland to find secure solution that will allow us to pre-register the card details of our regular customers.
In the mean time this information will have to be collected each time a booking is made.
We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause whilst we work towards a solution.
